Liz Rhaney creates multisensory forms of storytelling and archivism with video and installations. She obtained her BFA from Armstrong State University (now Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University) and her MFA from Maine College of Art. Rhaney makes videos to help her understand how the parts of her identity combine to shape who she is and her values. She shares these videos to connect with people who are trying to answer those same questions about themselves. As a queer woman of color, she exists in many intersections, and the layers in her work reflect the layers of her identity.
